About Justin Gladney, LCSW
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDR-trained therapist, and current PhD student in Clinical Sexology.
My work
Licensed in Florida, Washington, Arkansas, and Alabama
I help people explore difficult or stigmatized concerns in a space where they can feel seen, heard, and respected.
My doctoral studies focus on the assessment and treatment of people who have committed sexual offenses, including evidence-based approaches that support accountability, risk reduction, healthier sexuality, and the prevention of future harm.
My areas of focus include compulsive sexual behaviors, problematic pornography use, men’s mental health, LGBTQ+-affirming therapy, relationship and intimacy concerns, and therapy for consensually nonmonogamous and polyamorous relationships. I also provide preventive, nonjudgmental therapy for minor-attracted persons, work with women and other adults who have sexual-offense histories, and support adolescents experiencing sexual behavior concerns when their needs fall within my non-forensic scope of practice.
I believe meaningful change is more likely when therapy makes room for both compassion and accountability. You will not be reduced to a diagnosis, behavior, attraction, identity, or relationship structure. We can speak honestly about what is happening, understand what may be driving it, and develop practical strategies for healthier choices, safer boundaries, and more fulfilling relationships.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I integrate trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapy methods based on your symptoms, experiences, identities, relationships, and goals.
CBT can help us identify patterns of thinking and behavior that may be keeping you stuck and practice more effective responses.
EMDR may be used to address unresolved trauma, shame, anxiety, and emotionally distressing experiences.
Motivational Interviewing can help you explore ambivalence and strengthen your readiness for meaningful change.
IFS can help us understand the parts of you carrying fear, shame, anger, or protective behaviors with greater curiosity.
A clear scope of care
My current services are independent and non-forensic. I do not presently provide court-ordered sex-offender treatment, forensic evaluations, legal opinions, or sex-offender risk assessments.
