Therapy and clinical services

Support built around your needs—not assumptions.

I provide affirming therapy and clinical evaluation services for individuals, couples, relationship partners, groups, and adolescents. Explore each service to understand the purpose, process, and scope.

Individual therapy offers a private, collaborative space to understand what is happening beneath the surface and develop changes that feel realistic for your life.

I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, shame, trauma-related concerns, identity questions, relationship difficulties, problematic pornography use, compulsive sexual behaviors, and other concerns that may feel difficult to discuss. You do not have to arrive with the right words or a perfectly defined goal.

Treatment is individualized and may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches. Together, we may identify patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, process painful experiences, and build choices that better reflect your values.

This service may include

  • Confidential, nonjudgmental conversation
  • Collaborative treatment goals
  • Support for identity, sexuality, relationships, and emotional health
  • Telehealth availability based on your state and scheduling platform

Couples therapy helps partners slow down recurring conflict, understand the needs underneath it, and practice more honest and effective ways of relating.

I work with heterosexual and LGBTQ+ couples, as well as nonmonogamous and polyamorous relationships. Sessions may address communication, trust injuries, emotional or sexual disconnection, differing needs, jealousy, boundaries, infidelity, relationship transitions, and decisions about the future of the relationship.

The goal is not to decide who is right or force a particular relationship structure. I help each person communicate clearly, take meaningful accountability, and understand the interactional cycle affecting the relationship. Up to four partners may participate in a session when clinically appropriate and arranged in advance.

This service may include

  • Monogamous, nonmonogamous, and polyamorous relationships
  • LGBTQ+-affirming and culturally responsive care
  • Communication, intimacy, trust, and boundary work
  • Up to four participating partners

Group therapy gives adults an opportunity to reduce isolation, practice accountability, and learn alongside others who understand the challenges of compulsive sexual behavior.

The group may explore triggers, urges, shame, secrecy, emotional regulation, relationships, relapse-prevention planning, values, and healthier ways of responding to distress. The environment is structured to support honest participation without humiliation or moral judgment.

I uphold professional confidentiality and work to build a respectful, safer space for disclosure. However, I cannot guarantee that every group member will maintain confidentiality outside the group. Screening is required before participation so we can determine fit, review expectations, and discuss current availability.

This service may include

  • Adults experiencing compulsive sexual behaviors
  • In-person sessions in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  • Pre-group screening required
  • Confidentiality expectations reviewed before participation

An emotional support animal evaluation considers whether a mental health condition creates a disability-related need for the support provided by an animal.

The process may include a clinical interview, relevant history, assessment of symptoms and functioning, discussion of the role the animal plays, and review of applicable documentation requirements. A letter is provided only when supported by the evaluation and consistent with professional and legal standards.

Scheduling an evaluation does not guarantee that a letter will be issued. Requirements may differ by housing provider, jurisdiction, and circumstance, and an ESA letter is not the same as service-animal certification or documentation for unrestricted public access.

This service may include

  • Individual clinical assessment
  • Review of symptoms, functioning, and disability-related need
  • Documentation only when clinically appropriate
  • No guaranteed outcome or automatic letter

WPATH letter evaluations are conducted from a gender-affirming, respectful approach that centers your experience, goals, and informed decision-making.

The evaluation may include your gender history, current goals, mental health history, support system, understanding of the requested care, and any requirements identified by your medical provider or insurer. The purpose is to gather clinically relevant information—not to challenge or invalidate your identity.

When clinically appropriate, documentation may be prepared to support access to gender-affirming medical care. Because requirements vary among providers, procedures, and insurance plans, you may be asked to provide the specific criteria or forms requested by your treating medical professional.

This service may include

  • Gender-affirming and LGBTQ+-affirming process
  • Individualized clinical evaluation
  • Coordination with provider requirements when available
  • Documentation when clinically appropriate

A non-forensic psychosexual evaluation can help clarify sexual concerns, behavioral patterns, emotional factors, and appropriate treatment recommendations.

Depending on the referral question, the evaluation may include clinical interviews, psychosocial and sexual history, standardized measures, review of relevant treatment information, and recommendations for ongoing care. The process is intended to support clinical understanding and treatment planning in a respectful, non-shaming environment.

These evaluations are not forensic services. I do not provide court-ordered evaluations or treatment, legal opinions, sex-offender risk assessments, determinations for criminal or family-court proceedings, or testimony through this service. If your evaluation is connected to a legal matter, probation, parole, child-custody dispute, or court requirement, a qualified forensic provider may be needed.

This service may include

  • Clinical clarification and treatment recommendations
  • Relevant interviews and assessment measures
  • Nonjudgmental exploration of sexual concerns
  • Not for court, legal, forensic, or sex-offender risk purposes
